General Discussion / Re: cranberry 200 changes and updates

Its our last week of bird hunting, we are getting the traps out and maintained. Joe is charging up the impacted wrench for the Cranberry, but I am only giving him a open end 3/4" wrench for the shoot on March 31st. Lena has been no where to be found this winter, probably why its been so nice!! Pete Melloy tells me she went on a slim fast diet, maybe she will make a appearance at the Cranberry. This inside info comes from Pete. You know Pete is shooting this years Cranberry and he Lena seem to be friendly, will have pictures later. Why else would such a well educated Norwegian weather girl help Pete at his Leinenkugels with nice weather?? All behind the wall of silence you know. As we wait on pins and needles for Lena's weather prediction, spring is a coming and clay targets start dying a Woods and Meadow March 31st!!! Have a great shooting day.

Leinie's update-

We have an additional sponsor that jumped on board in support of the Lenie's 200 as well as our youth shooters. Loose Plastic Inc. will be sponsoring an added $500 lewis to youth (h.s. students and younger) with a 3 class payout. Thank you Loose plastic Inc!!!! We are getting excited for another great year of shooting. Hopefully Lena cooperates this year, if I remember correctly last year Scott manipulated Lena over a few adult beverages and she gave him all the good stuff. We had record turnout and record cold temperatures for the Leinie's!!! I have a plan to out maneuver Scott and his tactics this year. shhh......Don't tell Lena ;)
Talk soon. Pete

General Discussion / New league awards at J&H

We are thinking outside the box this year for our league awards.  Hot/Cold mugs.....what do you think?  We have the state FITASC next year and we would like to try something different than your typical trophies.  Useful items make sense to me.  Anyone have an opinion?  Diane
