Nice job team getting the state shoot information up early, I truly believe this can drive turnout. I'm a FITASC shooter and I'm glad to see a 28 and 20 events.

Re: Cranberry Weather
I cant say yet, but funny you asked. I was talking to the Famous Pete M just a hour ago. I asked him right off the bat if he new a good looking Norwegian Girl, he said Lena was out stocking traps on his clays course as we speak, so yes. I said interesting does your girl friend know???? He claims she doesn't care as long as Lena give the Cranberry good weather ( I like Pete's girl friend!!). What I am just afraid of is Pete got very lucky with this lady, and there isnt not enough Pete charm to go around for Lena and her. So the long and short of it, weather is still up in the air. And yes(for those of you thinking it) I married up with my Kris too, it took everything I had get her, so I keep Lena happy with Pat G famous Jack-o-reta's in the summer and warm spice rum drinks in the winter. For those of you that worry I might hurt Pete's feeling, dont, I checked, he doesn't have one LOL!

Website looks great!  I love the rotation times, a 330 final flight on Sunday is awfully late.  I am already looking forward to the Cranberry and State!

With the conclusion of the fall meeting we are live with the 2019 State shoot new web page. You can go to and click on 2019 State shoot. and go from there. Off the home page you can find each event has its own page with times.payouts, shoot offs and so on.

We will be sending out a save the date for the Cranberry and State in Dec flyer. We have two host motels set up in Tomah with 15% off rooms and a block of rooms set aside for state and the Cranberry that Can be accessed from home page of state shoot also.

Once the new WSCA web site is up and going we will have direct links off of it.  The only real change is we will be running two flights at 9:00 and 1:00 for the main, the benefits are several, dont fight morning or late sun, can start shoot offs earlier like at 4:00, still gives us room for 384 shooters,  just to name a few. As we get more sponsors and addition check in at to see whats up and coming with your state shoot that we are proud to host.

General Discussion / 2019 Ironman date
« Last post by dianered on September 17, 2018, 09:50:39 PM »
The WSCA board meeting was today.  The Wis Ironman will be held the first weekend of May next year and will go back to the last weekend of April in 2020.  Easter is the third weekend next year so the cranberry and the Ironman moved one weekend later.  Thinking of the shooters who want to attend both events we felt this was the best thing to do for next year.   Information will be out after Christmas.  Enjoy your Fall.  Diane
