Since I don't dream up weather girls, here's my un-offical "conditions" update. We had about a foot of snow over the weekend. It is settling and melting on this gorgeous, sunshiny day. The boys have been working their tails off (I don't admit that too often!) plowing everything! Thank God for great neighbors with bigger equipment than we have. The clays trails are plowed, the parking areas are plowed, the 5-stand and make-a-break are plowed. In short, there are spots on the farm that have never seen a plow before in their life that have all the snow removed! We quite often joke about our sandy soil, but really, we live in sand. The snow will melt and disappear into all that sand!
Nate has himself all dug out from his MN snow and is ready to set the "fitascular" event. Joe is getting our courses set. Scott is probably playing with his new tractor. Everyone is ready to go!
Also, the last two weekends have been cold and snowy, and pretty much not great shooting weather (a shout-out to those of you who toughed it out anyway!) This weekend is going to be amazing! 50s and sunny, and even see a 60 for Sunday. It is going to be so nice that I might even sneak out of the clubhouse to take Joel on in a round of make-a -break.
We are looking forward to a great weekend with all of you. Bring your rain boots, sunglasses, and whatever you need to celebrate a great weekend of shooting!
