This award will be presented annually at the Wisconsin State Shoot. The WSCA will present a traveling plaque with nameplate for each years award winner and the date of the year award is presented. Award winners will keep the plaque in their possession for display at their home club for one year*. This will be a traveling award.

Eligibility Of Nominees:

Ø       Nominees must be a member in good standing of both NSCA and WSCA

Ø       Nominees must have been Wisconsin residents for three years prior to award year

Ø       Nominees must be active in sporting clays as well as promoters of sporting clays and shooting sports in general

Ø       Nominees must demonstrate a sportsmanlike attitude toward fellow shooters and a professional approach to any controversy

Selection Criteria:

Ø       Nominees participation in the business of the WSCA

Ø       Nominees participation in WSCA tournaments

Ø       Nominees professional attitude toward other shooters and controversies that may arise

Selection Process:

Ø       Nominees for this award will be reviewed by a three person selection committee. The committee members will be appointed by the President of the WSCA

Ø       WSCA members, WSCA club owners, WSCA club managers or WSCA club representatives may be appointed to selection committee by the WSCA President

Ø       Selection committee members will be appointed at the WSCA Spring meeting in even numbered years and selection committee members will serve two years concurrent with term of the WSCA President

Ø       Selection committee and WSCA President will review nominees and award winner for current year based on award criteria

Ø       The award may not be given to the same individual in consecutive years

Ø       The committee will be responsible for having a decision of award winner from pool of nominees by July, 15^th of the current fiscal year. (This will allow time to have plaque engraved for presentation at the Wisconsin State Shoot)

Ø       It is NOT mandatory for the committee to award the trophy on an annual basis if the committee deems the nominees do not fit the criteria of the award (*In the event that the committee does not select a nominee for the current year, the award will remain with prior years winner until the following year)

Nominations:

Ø       Nominations MUST be received by June, 1^st 2004

Ø       Nominations can be made to WSCA website at www.wi-sportingclays.org

Ø       Nominations can be made in writing to any WSCA club representative. Club representative will be responsible for forwarding nomination to a committee member

Ø       Nominations can be made in writing to committee members or WSCA President

Ø       Nominations made by phone WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!
